  • Manager finance
  • Officer accounts
  • Assistant accounts 

The total number of posts available are 15. However, the candidates will have to work on contract basis. Then based on performance of candidate the renewal of same will be done.

Post Name: Manager finance 

The candidates with degree in chartered accountant or cost accountant can apply for this post. However the preference will be given to candidates with company secretary qualification, work in aviation industry and knowledge of computers. Also, the upper age limit for freshers is 28 years. However, candidates with work experience will be given a relaxation. Further, the salary for this post is Rs. 50,000 per month. 

Post Name: Officer Accounts 

The candidates who want to apply for this post. The basic qualification requirement is inter chartered accountant or inter cost accountant or MBA in finance. However, candidates with work experience will be given more preference. Also, candidates with knowledge of MS-Office is also beneficial for the selection. Further, the upper age limit is 30, 33, 35 for general, OBC and SC/ST respectively. The salary for this post is Rs. 32,200 per month. 

Post Name: Assistant Accounts 

The basic qualification requirement is graduate degree. However, Candidates with work of minimum one year in finance. Preference will be given to them. Further, The upper age limit is 28, 31, 33 for general, OBC and SC/ST respectively. Furthermore, The salary for this post is Rs. 21,300 per month.

Job Description

JKPSC has released a notification for total of 91 posts. The name of the post is Assistant registrar Cooperative society.  

Important Dates 

  • The application form along with instructions of filling the form will be available from 17-05-2021. It will be available on official website of JKPSC. 
  • The application filling will be available till 16-06-2021. Further the application process is only available in online mode.
  • The age of applicants will be taken with reference to 01-01-2021. Further,  the cut off date for  degree is on or before 16-06-2021.
  • As a reminder, the examination date is 24-10-2021. However this date is tentative. It can change based on situation. 
  • Three extra days from 19.06.2021 (12:00AM) to 21.06.2021 (11:59PM) will be given to candidates. In this time frame, one can edit the online application.


  • only domiciles of Jammu and Kashmir are eligible. 
  • The eligible candidates for this post are the Candidates with graduate degree. However more preference will be given to candidates having higher diploma in Cooperation.

  • Reservation for this post is also available. The total of 45 out of 91 posts is available for reservation categories. However, candidates belonging to any of the category. He/she has to provide a valid certificate to JKPSC authority. 
  • Examination centres will be at two places i.e Srinagar and Jammu. However, This choice is up to candidate. 
  • The application fee is differs based on candidates category. For open category, the application fee is Rs. 1000. While in case of category, It is Rs. 500. Candidates belonging to PHC category do not need to pay. 

Scheme of Examination

The scheme of examination is a two step process. 

  1. First a written test of 2 hours will be conducted. The test will contain 120 objective type. Furthermore, There will be a negative marking for wrong answer. 
  2. Candidates who will qualify the test. Then an interview will be conducted for shortlisted candidates. In interview the main stress will be on domain knowledge/skills, questions on matters of general interest and matters related to the post for which he is being interviewed. Furthermore, the main motive behind the interview is to check suitability of candidate for the post.
